    Visitors arriving by car can use Ally Center's 1,400-space parking garage or public parking in front of the Museum.

  • BY LIGHT RAIL

    Visitors traveling by light rail can exit at Brooklyn Village station. MOI Charlotte is just a 4 minute walk from the station.

    The bus station closest to our location is at CTC Arena. MOI Charlotte is a 13 minute walk away from the station.

  • PARKING

    MOI Charlotte does not have designated parking for guests. Nearby Parking options listed below:

  • Ally Center Parking Garage Location: 601 S College St, Charlotte, NC 28202 Pricing: $3 per hour, $30 daily maximum Details: This garage offers 1,400 spaces and is attached to the museum.

  • Regions Parking Location: 615 South College Street Charlotte, NC 28202 Pricing: $2 per hour, $26 daily maximum Details: Conveniently located near the museum, 1 block away 

  • Preferred Parking Deck (can also accommodate bus parking, see below)

  • Preferred Parking Service - all of their locations and rates  Location: 212 S Tryon St Suite 1300, Charlotte, NC 28281 Pricing: Weekdays Weekdays 5am - 4pm $17.00;  After-Hours Parking Monday - Friday 4pm to 5am and weekends $12

  • Oversized Parking for Buses/Schools

    For visitors arriving in oversized vehicles or buses, we recommend the following options:

  • 907 S Tryon Street - Lot #907; located on the corner of South Tryon and Morehead (1 block walk), must be booked 2 weeks in advance by calling Preferred Parking. Preferred Parking Service

Please note that walk-in tickets are priced $2 higher than tickets purchased in advance online.

* Children ages 4 and under have free entry, but need a ticket to reserve the time slot.

Children ages 12 and under must always be accompanied by an adult during their visit.

Taxes and fees are additional.

Complimentary admission is available exclusively for teachers and educators with valid school IDs. Each teacher is entitled to one free ticket per visit/day. This offer is valid for walk-in visitors only. Please present your valid school ID upon entry.

Accessibility

Museum of Illusions (“MOI”) strives to ensure accessibility and provide reasonable accommodations to its guests, including those with disabilities. MOI locations are wheelchair and scooter accessible; however, MOI does not have wheelchairs, scooters, or other mobility aids available on site. MOI asks that you provide your own mobility aids if needed. MOI welcomes service animals. Please be aware that MOI attractions may utilize a range of slanted floors, lighting effects, projections, and LED lights, which may vary in intensity, and which can be bypassed as needed on your visit.
